Do you subcontract out your work?
Never! All our work is done in-house by employees of Ohio Signature Painting. All of our employees have multiple years of experience in the Painting industry. Many of them have been with Ohio Signature Painting for more than 4 Years, meaning they know the same quality and customer service our clients have come to expect.
What Products do you use?
We use only the top-tier products from Sherwin-Williams on our customer’s homes. This includes Duration and Emerald for both interior and exterior.
Is OSP fully licensed and insured?
Absolutely! Ohio Signature Painting provides a $1,000,000 liability insurance policy to cover any mishaps or accidents that could occur while working on your home. We also provide full worker’s compensation as well as $1,000,000 in personal injury insurance to ensure we take care of any employee working for us.
What safety precautions are taken at my home?
Safety is the most important part of any job. Ohio Signature Painting promises to one of the safest environments in the industry. The safety program includes onsite manuals, weekly briefings, and safety check ups on each job. It is always a best practice to have safety as a main priority because by law, contractors must have their safety procedures outlined on the job site.
Why not paint the house myself?
We know time and money are important. We use top-of-the-line paint. The retail cost for the homeowner could be anywhere from $400-$600 for materials. Because of our relationship with Sherwin-Williams we are able to get very deep discounts that we can pass along to you. The proper equipment (brushes, rollers, drop sheets, sanders, etc.) could also cost up to $600. Additionally, our painters typically spend 40-60 hours on an average job. Assuming that you paint as fast as our crews, you will need to set aside 3-4 weekends in order to complete the job. Many people feel that the time they could be spending with their family outweighs the cost.
What is your warranty?
We offer a 3-Year premium warranty. So, you’re thinking about putting 2 coats of paint on your home? We are so positive that the work provided will last, that when coupled with our high quality products, we are willing to provide one of the longest guarantees in the industry to prove it. If 2 coats of finished product are applied during the process, you are automatically qualified for our 3-year no hassle premium service guarantee.
What is the payment process?
We hope you choose Ohio Signature Painting to complete your home improvement project this year! Upon booking the job we will require a 25% down payment. This solidifies your spot in our calendar and helps to
cover the cost of materials.
We accept payment in 2 different ways:
By check – The most common method of payment is a check made payable to Ohio
Signature Painting.
By credit card – We accept most major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express & Discover).*
*Please note that a 2.7% convenience charge will be added to the total amount.
What is the estimate process like?
Ohio Signature Painting aims to make the estimate process as painless as possible, while still giving you the attention you need to get an accurate quote. The purpose of the estimate is to identify the scope of work to be done, educate you on what factors will directly affect the price, and provide you with a detailed agreement that outlines all that is included in the project.
Do you include a design consultation?
Yes! While most contractors do not include this part in the process, we want to support you while making these exciting decisions. During the design consultation we can help you choose colors, examine safety precautions, determine a starting date. and discuss other details to ensure clear communication.
What kind of experience do you have?
During their attendance at the University of Cincinnati, owners Marcus Hanson and Brett Gault were introduced to the painting industry through an internship program, where each successfully ran their own house painting business. With experience making their way up the company from painters to project managers, they understand the importance of customer service and a job well done. This valuable experience has provided them with the ability to apply these skills to their own company, Ohio Signature Painting.
